Position : Engineer I
Description of Job Duties
:Work with engineering personnel on analyzing local and wide area network systems, which includes planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media. Work with engineering personnel on resolving inter:operability problems to obtain operations across all platforms, as well as development of network solutions to maximize and reroute traffic and perform root cause analysis through appropriate commands, specifications and scripts. Work with cross functional teams to provide support on acquisition of standard hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed. Entry level position, requires direction and guidance with some tasks.
Supervision to be Received
:Supervised by Manager and performs all work as assigned on a daily, weekly basis. All work performed per CenturyLink's standards, methods, and procedures.
Requirements:
:Must submit a resume, transcript, and a letter of recommendation
:Must have a 3.0 GPA or above
:Must be currently enrolled at a 4:year accredited College or University as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student
:Must work 30:40 hours per week during the 10 week session
*Preferred majors Engineering, CIS, IT, or MBA, Business Administration
