Job Description
Cumberland Field Services
has immediate openings for a Part-Time/Full-Time Property Preservation Contractors, Inspectors,
lawn services, and maid services. This is an Independent Contractor position (xxxx) and is responsible for the physical upkeep of bank owed properties. Must be able to pass background check. Must have experience.
Work available in all Parishes:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our property preservation crews perform maintenance and repairs on behalf of the commercial
mortgage industry including lawn service, debris removal, maid services, winterizations, lock changes,
and repairs on foreclosed properties. This is a physically demanding job. Must be able to move
applicances and furniture. This is a field position where the ideal candidate works independently and will
drive their own vehicle from site to site daily.
All work must be completed on time.
Work is completed in all weather conditions.
Actual number of properties available varies based on geographic area and client volume.
QUALIFICATIONS
A reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license.
A cell phone.
A digital camera with an SD card or smart phone with camera.

Above average written, verbal communication, computer and typing skills.
PC with Windows XP or newer with Microsoft Excel and Word (xxxx or newer) plus, printer/scanner,
high-speed Internet and digital camera.
Self-directed, self-motivated, and self-disciplined.
Able to work quickly, efficiently and independantly meeting hard due dates with a minimum of
supervision and have a high degree of integrity.
Detail oriented, well organized, and flexible. Candidates must also have job ownership, as well as a take
charge/can do mentality.
Depending on the territory must typically be available to complete physical inspections in the field at
least work three full days per week.
Ability to interact professionally with borrowers, management and clients.
Access to a reliable car with ability to cover a wide territory.
Physically able to complete a full day of preservation work.
Committed to a long term relationship with CFS.
