Job Description
:Primary contributor in a Data Warehousing Informatica development team
:Provide technical direction in the creation, delivery and integration of multiple complex software solutions.
:May translate business requirements into specific designs and/or participate in the design, evaluation and selection of IT solutions for software for a specific business process.
:Establish the current and future use of practice, metrics and methodologies to determine current and future solutions.
:Explore and evaluate new and approved technologies.
:Consult on the application of existing and new, approved technologies to develop solutions.
:Ensure the process of creation and delivery of design and solution in accordance with architectural direction.
Qualifications
:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field or the equivalent in training and experience.
:
12+ years related experience, or 8 years with Masters.
:
8 years ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter
:
Demonstrates in depth knowledge of development principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline
:
Ability to work in a team:oriented environment where team members and business partners are located across the US and internationally.
:
Demonstrates in depth knowledge of Agile software development
:
Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple tasks to meet established deadlines while accommodating rapidly changing priorities.
:
Support existing business applications by resolving production exceptions, and fine tune program to reduce issues. Utilize problem management tools in reporting, updating and closing out production problems. Provide on:call support as scheduled Experience using structured specification coding and documentation techniques.
:
Ability to translate business requirements into technical design, code, test and deliverable solutions that meet or exceed the customers expectations.
:
Provide for successful assignment completion by scheduling, performing and coordinating the testing, installation and maintenance of applications within agreed upon time and budget
:
Provide expertise through cross:training, technical memos and presentation to the programming and design staff regarding modern development techniques and the use of application development software
