Very easy to breed like the cherry shrimp. Deep, dark red as adults and young adults, the babies are pretty red too. They eat algae, fish foods, and love blanched vegetables. I send random males and female baby juveniles 1/6"-1/3". These grow to 1"- 1½". Much more RED than regular cherry shrimp. These are great for the planted aquarium. I use regular tap water in all my tanks. Dwarf shrimp do best in a species only, established planted tank with stable parameters. The photos are of the adults and babies from the tank that I will be netting from. ( I don't ship the adults in the pix at this time, just the baby juveniles 1/3" up to 1/2" as they adapt better to new conditions). Shrimp will reach full color as they mature. Males stay smaller and don't get as red as the females. They will also be more pale when you receive them 3, and need time to adapt to their new environment. These color up the best on a dark substrate, the darker the better, black being best, they get BLAZING RED on my black sand, even the youngsters, that color up more as they get older.
